U.F.A.: Unidentified Flying Art

General

U.F.A is a limited (255) generative art collection based off of an individual’s digital wallet address hash values. It combines three different visual elements all comprised of a series of lines, circles and semicircles. Each piece is unique and personalized based of the collector’s wallet address hash (20 random numbers ranging between 0-255).

UFA Elements

The U.F.A. collection combines three elements each containing 20 individual pieces.

  • Twenty vertical lines Each line’s height is based off your wallet’s hash pair values. Some say it’s like a bar chart, others say it’s the tail of a unidentified flying art piece!

  • A series of circles distributed horizontally The x-position of the circles is based off your wallet’s hash pair values. Some say this is a visual distribution of 20 different numbers, others say it’s the living quarters of unknown artistic beings!

  • Overlapping semicircles. This element uses a sorted list of the 20 values from your wallet hash from smallest to largest. The first and smallest semicircle is your smallest value, the second is the second smallest value and so on. The dimensions of each semicircle is based off each hash pair value. Some say this is just a cool way to see the relationship of your wallet’s values, others say it’s the main body of the unidentified flying art piece!

Color Scheme

There are ten possible color schemes for your U.F.A.. Each color scheme has five different colors. The color scheme is based off the very first hash value pair number. When that number is between certain values (sets of 25), a specific color scheme is selected. Each element in your piece is randomly assigned a color based off that selected color scheme (there is some randomness in this collection).

Rare Traits

There are two rare traits. A rare trait is triggered when a certain value pair exceeds a certain number.

  • Composition flip. In about 15% of pieces, the entire composition is vertically flipped. (The lines are pointing up and semicircles are facing down.)

  • Monochromatic color scheme. About 10% of pieces will have a monochromatic color scheme.
