Especial Orbs

General

“Especial Orbs“ is a limited generative art collection based off of an individual’s digital wallet address hash values. It takes the 20 values of your hash string and draws 20 circles (representative of those 20 values), places an element inside the circle and rotates that element by the value of your hash pair for that position (hash-pair-value * 1.411) to arrive at a value between 0-360 degrees. Each piece is a unique visual representation of your wallet hash values and the rotation of the inner element represents the 20 different values that are contained in your wallet’s hash string.

Especial Orbs Elements

• Twenty Circles: These 20 circles represent the 20 different hash value pairs that are in your wallet’s hash string.

• Inner Circle Elements: The inner circle element’s rotation value represent the actual hash pair value. Hash pair values range from 0-255, so those values are multiplied by 1.411…to convert to 0-360 degrees. The representation of these inner circle elements is unique to your wallet!

• Background Circles:. The 235 (255-20) circles in the background is a visual element that brings a sense of chaos to the order of the 20 orbs.

• Color Scheme: There are ten standard possible color schemes for your “Especial Orbs” and one “rare” color scheme. Each color scheme has five different colors. The color scheme is based off the very first hash value pair number. When that number is between certain values (sets of 25), a specific color scheme is selected. Each element in your piece is randomly assigned a color based off that selected color scheme (there is some randomness in this collection).

Rare Traits

There are a few rare traits.

• Circle Size. Most pieces will have “normal” sized circles. Some pieces will have “large” circles and some will have “small” circles.

• Snap to 90. Most piece’s inner visual element will rotate to a value between 0-360 degrees (which represent your hash pair value). For a few pieces, the inner elements will “snap to 90” - meaning the inner circle will be at either 0, 90, 180 or 270 degrees. What it snaps to is still based off your wallet’s values.

• Background Circles: Most background circles will have a 235 circles, randomly place in the background . A rare piece will have a “clean” background with no background circles.

• Color Scheme: There is one rare color scheme called “Simple Orbs”, which is a black, white and red color scheme. This has a ~5% chance of happening.

Especial Orbs Smart Contract

This collection uses it’s own smart contract, which is cool in all sorts of ways. The most important is that I think it’s most valuable for my collectors. A few cool things about this.

• Especial Orbs uses it’s very own contract, and own token you can track, kind of like a stock tracker.

• All images are stored on IPFS, so it is not reliant on any single platform.

• It’s much easier to mint pieces and keep track of it’s traits.

• The Especial Orbs contract provides a super clean provenance. I deploy straight from my own wallet and each piece’s TokenID corresponds to the ID of the art.

• and it’s just cool knowing this collection has it’s own contract behind it!
